The Meaning and Conditions Of Lā ilāha illallāh "There Is No Deity Worthy Of Worship Except Allah"

The utterance lā ilāha illallāh is a true statement of sincerity (ikhlās) because its meaning is that one sincerely worships only Allāh, the Most High, besides whom there is none worthy of worship. Therefore the meaning of lā ilāha illallah is, “There is no deity worthy of worship in truth except Allāh.” It is the saying that enters one into the Islamic faith. A truly tremendous statement, and because of it, Allāh sent the Messengers and the Revelation: the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospels to Jesus and the Qur’an to Muhammad (عَلَيْهِم السَّلَامُ). Every Messenger was sent with the central message, to begin their call on the basis of this statement.
